MomoConStaph will be doing the Digital Art Demo this year. The time is still To Be Announced. Come learn cool art techniques on the computer! This demonstration will cover the basics of illustrating using GIMP, a free computer program for art and photo editing. Feel free to just sit and watch, but you are also encouraged to bring your laptop with you so that you can follow along with the demonstration. Visit http://testtubelabs.net/testtube/?page_id=172 to find the necessary software with some tips for installing and configuring it for your computer. We’ll also be giving away CDs full of free, open source software at the panel (first come, first serve). |
